The ICM1503 is a UL-approved Intermittent Ignition Oil Primary Control, designed to enhance the safety and performance of residential oil-fired burners including boilers, furnaces, and water heaters. It is ideal for applications that do not require pre-purge or post-purge cycles.

    Controls the oil burner, ignition transformer, and optional oil valve in response to thermostat heat calls.
  • Advanced Flame Detection
    Equipped with a C554A Cadmium Sulfide (cad cell) to detect flame presence and automatically shut down if a flame is not sensed.
  • Built-In Safety Lockout
    Provides a 45-second lockout timer. If ignition fails, the system safely locks out and can be reset with the red external button (press and hold three seconds, triggered on release).
  • LED Diagnostics
    Includes an LED indicator to provide clear system and lockout status for quick troubleshooting.
  • Versatile Installation
    Mounts on a standard 4×4" J-Box, with some models offering direct burner housing mounting for convenience.
