Nu-Calgon’s Bio-Fresh cd (1-gallon, part 4126-38) is a powerful yet safe bacteriostat, fungistat, and deodorizer specifically formulated for HVAC and refrigerant systems. Utilizing advanced chlorine dioxide technology, it effectively eliminates odors and controls microbial growth on surfaces such as coils, condensate pans, filters, and ductwork.

Application Instructions
  1. Pre-clean HVAC components
    Use suitable coil or drip-pan cleaner to remove debris before treatment.
  2. Apply directly to surfaces
    • Odor control: Spray the source or mist into the air—repeat for severe odors.
    • HVAC sanitization: Fog or spray into intake vents and onto system components; do not wipe off—allow to air dry.
  3. For evaporative cooler maintenance
    Spray excelsior pads, or add 2 oz per gallon of reservoir water to maintain hygiene.
  4. Safety first
    May cause eye irritation or harm if ingested. Wear gloves, and follow first-aid steps per label/SDS if exposure occurs.
