Usage & Directions
- Dilution ratios vary with application:
• For heavily scaled components (e.g. completely stopped coils), use full strength.
• More common: mix 1 part Calci-Solve with 2-10 parts water depending on equipment and severity of scale. - Hot water heaters (gas type): Drain water, apply a 2-5 parts water to 1 part Calci-Solve solution. Let sit, then flush thoroughly.
- Electric heaters: Use a 5:1 water to product solution.
- Boilers: Use 10-15 parts water to 1 part Calci-Solve; allow sufficient dwell time (e.g. 12 hours) and flush well after cleaning.
Important: Always follow safety instructions and SDS. Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Not for use on aluminum or magnesium surfaces.
