Nu-Calgon 4162-77 Soak-N-Solv HVACR Restoring Solution – 32-oz Quart, Non-Corrosive, Leaves No Residue

Nu-Calgon Soak-N-Solv (Part #4162-77) is a ready-to-use restoring solution formulated specifically for HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) components. This powerful cleaning agent is designed to dissolve contaminants rapidly, restoring performance without damaging metal surfaces.

Key Features & Benefits:
  • Dissolves contaminants in seconds – Quickly removes grime, oil, sludge and buildup from internal parts like thermal expansion valves (TEVs), solenoid valves, pressure regulating valves (PRVs), compressors, fans, flanges, and fasteners.
  • Dries clean, leaves no residue – Ensures that cleaned components aren’t hindered by leftover solvents or films that can impede performance.
  • Non-corrosive to metals – Safe for use on steel, aluminum, copper and other standard HVACR metals. Minimizes risk to sensitive internal surfaces.
  • High dielectric strength – Safe around electrical components when used properly, helping prevent short circuits and damage.
  • Professional-grade cleaning – Especially formulated for HVACR technicians; suitable for compressor rebuilds, fan blade cleaning, flange assemblies, and more.
Usage / Application:

Soak-N-Solv 4162-77 is intended for use by HVACR professionals. It can be applied in the following ways:
  1. Spot treatment: Apply undiluted to small or precise areas using a rag, brush or suitable applicator.
  2. Soaking: For heavily soiled parts (e.g. internal assemblies, valves, fans), submerge in a container of Soak-N-Solv. Repeat if needed.
  3. Protect vulnerable materials: Avoid or shield plastic, rubber, elastomers and painted surfaces from over-spray or direct contact. Always test on a small area first.
