Nu-Calgon Nu-Brite 4291-05 is a non-acidic, alkaline-based condenser coil cleaner in a 2.5 gallon size. Designed for HVAC/R professionals, it delivers powerful cleaning and brightening of outdoor air-cooled condenser coils and other finned heating and cooling coils. Because it’s alkali based rather than acid, it provides strong grease and grime removal while reducing risks of corrosion and damage associated with acid cleaners.

How to Use
  1. Safety first: Use gloves, eye protection, and other PPE. Turn off HVAC system before cleaning.
  2. Dilution: Mix 1 part Nu-Brite to 4 parts water. Always add water first when using a low-pressure sprayer.
  3. Apply: Spray evenly over dirty condenser coils. Let product dwell for 5-10 minutes to allow foam to penetrate grime.
  4. Rinse: Thoroughly rinse off with water to remove all cleaner and lifted debris.
  5. Protect: After rinsing, optionally apply a coil protectant (e.g. Cal-Shield®) to extend coil life and resist corrosion.

  • Hazards: Causes severe eye damage & skin burns; corrosive to metals. Handle with care.
  • Environmental: Biodegradable surfactants; however, avoid discharge into waterways. Dispose of residues per local regulations.
  • Storage: Keep in original container, tightly closed, in a corrosion-resistant container; store locked up.
