This Trion® charcoal filter is used to absorb odors and must be replaced every 90 days to keep absorbing odors. Once the activated charcoal absorbs all the odor it can hold, this filter for electronic air cleaners will no longer absorb odor and the charcoal filters can not be cleaned or reused.
